I Remember

Contributed by Jenn2004 on Sunday, 22nd August 2004 @ 05:13:02 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Where was you when I went through this hell,
I remember the pain u put me through all to well,
Those days are gone, it isnt the same,
At night, i wake up, and call out your name,
But i forget youre not even there,
After all the hurt, i cant believe i still care,
I dont know why i ever gave you the time of day,
I remember the days when we use to fight and play,
I still remember the days when you said i was the one,
I remember the days when we had alot of fun,
I remember our late night talks,
during the summer, i remember our walks,
I remember at work, we would laugh the night away,
I still remember all the crazy things you would say,
I also remember when u took your love away,
Those Memories will always stay stuck in my head,
Ill never forget the things that you said.

touching poem for those that have lost. memories as these are as mimes walls, only to real when surounded by them and at the same time a whisper of nothing.

A broken heart will always leave you feeling jaded and it is hard to move on even when we know we must
