I have a friend who is a Korean Vet
Dorvis Coulter is his name
He served his Country
Protecting freedom for you and me
We used to talk about life
You and I
We both have had our good old days
You were an artist, sign painter, engineer, friend
Dorvis became sick
He spent his time in a wheelchair
It didn’t break his spirit
He still loved life
The time we spent together
Gave me pleasure
I miss our little talks
I am sad for Dorvis died today
I was with you the night you died
I know that you are out of pain
Cancer took you from us
But your memory remains
As you left this earth
You left your wheelchair behind
You are walking and running with your mom
Be well my friend
I will miss you
