First Night

Contributed by Stellar on Sunday, 22nd August 2004 @ 12:20:30 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

He leads me by hand to an uncharted place
I'm lost in his world as he explores my face

His fingers flow down my skin like a winding river
Our clothes fall to the floor and my whole body shivers

So gentle is his touch, his kisses like feathers
Chills course through my veins and our lips join together

The night comes alive and the stars catch fire
My emotions have peaked yet he still takes me higher

Then all becomes quiet, not a sound in the air
He kisses my lips, softly touching my hair

Nothing was so beautiful or quite as divine
As the first night our hearts and souls were aligned
