Crimson Rain Drops

Contributed by CrimsonTears on Saturday, 21st August 2004 @ 11:51:18 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Crimson rain drops fall around you
Puddles of scarlet form at your feet
Smear the drops all over your face
In your mouth they taste so sweet

Dancing around in the puddles of blood
Screaming and laughing your not insane
Your just enjoying this cold dark evening
Splashing around in the crimson rain

Call out to all of those who are listening
Tell them that it’s time to play
All over the city they come to join you
Let’s go now it’s time to slay

You ravage through the quiet city
No survivors in this twisted game
Don’t you dare leave anyone breathing
Or you’ll just become a shame

Demons of the night come together
No one left the game now stops
Your demons have all left you now
All that are left are the crimson rain drops

I enjoyed this immensely. I liked the second
stanza the best, "no survivors in this twisted
game" I like how you refered to killing as
game it upped the twistedness of it a notch. I
also liked how it was actually raining blood
since so many people were massacred. A
wonderful write.
