Red Reminder

Contributed by carebear on Saturday, 21st August 2004 @ 01:23:12 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Holding her breath,
She pulls back her sleeve,
Pink lines forgotten remind her,
Of what she use to be,
Her past dark, unsteady
Trouble was never far behind,
Opening anger, faults, sorrow
Giving up was her way of thinking,
Drinking away pain, life, guilt
Falling down in her darkest hour,
Red droplets fall, glass shattered
Tears shed draining her weak
Losing control, balance, sleep
She simply threw it all away,
Painting her world black,
Will she ever find her way back?
Screaming out loud blocking out,
The voice's inside her head,
Memory’s set her skin on fire,
Her soul spread upon the soaking red sheet,
Lies told with deceit,
Looking down at her red reminder.

wine-coloring flirt my white

slleves are wite my floating are right

grapes are red

lives are read

Bloods are writing

History still cool in wire

Tricks are threads in boxes

Lands are our boons

Laws are list in book

They are hard to heard

We are hearts to hearts

But wars are harsh
