The White Mad Dream

Contributed by Ina on Saturday, 21st August 2004 @ 10:18:02 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

midnight is the core of the clock
lingering like silver rain
above my scalp
inching forward toward my
eyelids
dripping skin on my thighs

I crawl on top of the world
like a drunk baby
and flop into a
Mad Dream----that stares at me like a dead rose

(rose is a word invented by the first human poet
it means;
poets are thieves and they write against God)

I try to please my dream
by stroking my thighs
like the neck of a horse
but shallow is the touch
of the sleeping body

throwing seductive vultures off my mind
I see a face
eyes like broken crystals
slashing layers of my peach cheek
and the eyes explode
with sour salivish venom that
falls on my face
like white chocolate

tastes like a graveyard kiss

screeching of bones
moving away

AWAKE!

in the hour of one
they look like
night scars

focus, focus
for dawn settles
on my sheets
like that Poet’s decaying rose

I rise to find myself
floating
in the white sea
of arms and drool

your work is like a pill-induced hallucination. disturbingly vivid, overly-brightened colors, scenes you'd never see in your normal day. as always, another mindf*ck of a scrawl. skittles.

Jesus, I don't have the time to comment on all of your poems. But this one cracked me up. lol

I crawl on top of the world
like a drunk baby

lol....that's f*cked up....

The first stanza is very vivid....like all of your poetry....and the rest of the poem too....

I rise to find myself
floating
in the white sea
of arms and drool

lol....great image. I love your filthe....Very gritty feeling....reminds me of hard techno....Frankie Bones....the beat that splats against your face and grinds into your skull.....

I love that feeling....

Be True,
zenmind
