lights go on
lights go off
shutting down
the soul to
let the
spirit breathe
free
bound to her
past
chained to the
mirror
all that glitters
is not gold
the pedastal
is broken
catch her when
she falls
spread eagled
and landing
squarely for
the
crowd
take whatever
it is she
offers for fear
to scorn
her soul
tap the keg
to understanding
watch out
as she rolls

Your poems are still tantilizing and makes me wonder still. Few words, and yet so profound!
A Party Girl for sure.......I hear your message, and it's so true......Allure.........and sometimes a trap!
Wonderful little Pear Lady........you'll never lose it.......it's poems written in your heart!
I'm so glad you're back........and I can still be a part!
love you

'tap the keg to understanding' - a worthy write, if just for this line alone. Men go through their version of this too. Spare but beautiful.

There is a depth of meaning to your writes that, somehow, I have managed to overlook all this time. You are very talented my friend, shame on me for taking so long to realize it.
