hard to break a habit

Contributed by grip-wth-broken-fingers on Friday, 20th August 2004 @ 04:04:10 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

a pushing of a button
suicide slowly creeps on in
like its in our nature so kill ourselves
when something goes wrong
to many harmful thoughts circling
an answer for this confusion is hard to find
seems like evrything is nothing
if only she would snap you out of this demise

a push of a button
and you take this blade to your skin
a word from those lips
and your rite on the edge again
a drop of your blood and
everything is fine again
then the world collapses around itself again

hard to break a habit when the blood has ran for so long
hard to snap out of your desirable demise
the world looks to real without these tears
but these words and memopries have cirled this mind
now for just to long

should i fight for another time or should i end it al today ?
take the easy way

I liked this a lot, an interesting point you brought up was like it's in our nature to kill ourselves. I agree. It's a shame that so many of us feel this way. Take care.
