Stop Polluting Please!!

The sky is blue.
The water is clear.
Roses are red.
And grass is green.
Now the sky is dark and gray.
The water is an icky green.
The roses are all wilted.
The grass is dry and brown.
We've polluted the air.
We've polluted the water.
We've polluted the earth.
Now the world is just plain dispicable.
We have got to stop this now.
Recycle your bottles, cans, and paper.
Please stop the yucky landfills.
And please, please don't throw your trash down.
So let's turn the sky back to blue.
The grass fresh and green.
Make the roses pretty again.
And clean the water for the fishes. :)

I remember diving into aclear water -our Murray River!
now it is green and there is not many fish
I got a lot out of your poem...thanks...
why must this world have to ignore what is really happening around us and try to change it for the better..and fast!

Well I recycle everything, but to be honest, once they pick it up, its hard to say where it goes from there, as I have never bothered to find out.
One way of making me feel guilty, Awesome write, it sure sends out a clear message.
