MY MATE IS DEAD!

Contributed by deathdrop on Friday, 20th August 2004 @ 06:05:07 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

my mate's dead!
don't tell me, to not put the bullets through my head!
MY MATE-IS-DEAD!
she believed suicide was the ONLY way out.
AND I COULDN'T REACH HER!
she wouldn'd listen to my shouts...
my helpless cries,
she just went on that she would die!
that was last night!
IS SHE ALRIGHT?
dunno!
but my head hurts so!
is she really dead?
will i let some truth except.
is my mate Harriet, truthfully, honestly, dead?
dunno!
dunno, how much i wanna know!
she WAS my friend...
she's always wanted to meet her end,
i just coudn't talk her out of it!
not this time.
we spoke on Yahoo Messanger,
we didn't speak in real life.
i tried to get through to her,
in the best way i could.
but she said she was seeing dead people,
and that she's never been understood...
she asked me, if i get hallucinations.
i said no.
i've the dead people in dreams,
but other-wise no...
she was saying i'm like the rest,
and she wouldn't let my words get through.
I DID MY BEST!
... but in the end, she had to go...
and i was left crying,
staring at the computer screen,
"YOU'RE GONE AREN'T YOU?" i wrote,
but no reply, came back to me...

Aww! I'm so sorry for you! You did your best, this is not your fault. Perhaps death was better than life for her. I am so sorry for your loss. But perhaps she is just fine. I guess she doesn't realize that she has such a great friend. Take care.

Oh wow Rosie! I'm sorry I havn't been on here in such a long time...I havn't been able to write anything. It's frusturating...But I hope she's alright! Let me know if you need to talk--I'm always here.
