She lived in an old apartment
above the corner store
she used to have big dreams
but she doesn't have them anymore.
she thought her life was true
but it was all made up of lies
there goes her loving heart
there goes her big blue eyes.
as they cut her from the ceiling
her parents began to cry
they'll never understand
why she thought she had to die.
while they layed her in the caughin
she was knocking on heavens door
and she shall not be forgotten
as the girl who lived in the old apartment
above the corner store.

Yes, tragic and rhythmic, with a certain vivid quality. Although you spelled 'coffin' wrong (an interesting alternative, I thought), a few errors can't spoil a poem with a heart like this one.
