The 'Forest of Time' Has Never Been Kind

Contributed by saveMEfromMYSELF on Friday, 20th August 2004 @ 12:47:46 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Is there a path which I can take,
Or is my life one big mystake?
In efforts to find this path of mine
I try to climb in the 'Forest of Time.'
But when I climb these trees I find
There is no path that I call mine.
Then I fall to the forest floor
To see my path nevermore.
All my efforts, they go in vain
To find a path never seen again.
Still I try to find my way
Maybe I'll find it some other day
Or is there a guide that i don't see.
A guide that's never been there for me.
Something that shows everyone else a way,
But is never there to here me say,
"I need some help, will you help me out?
Will you help me to find my way about?"
So long I've looked all on my own.
So long I've searched to find my home.
There's never been a bird in the sky above me.
There's never been a wind to show the way to me.
I've lost all faith in a guide you see.
I've lost all faith in everything and me.

Very nice! I love it!!!! I like the flow and how well the entire thing rhymed. Keep up the good work, you have a great talent! ^_^ However, I'm sure there is a guide out there for you, you just have to wait to find it. It will come eventually. I've only just found mine. It just takes time, but you'll know when you find it. Great write once again.
