Hush Love

Topic: SadPoetry

Hush love
For it wont hurt anymore.
Hold my hand
I'll lead you to a good place.
I promise I wont let go.

Hush love
I'll take away your pain.
No one will take you away
Not where we will be,
Not with me there.

Hush love
Don't worry about anyone else.
they just don't matter any more.
All that matters is that you're with me
Forever more.

Hush love
I'm so sorry.
Wipe away your tears.
The pain will leave soon
And we can be together.

Hush love
I had to
I hope you understand.
Now no one can rip us apart.
You are mine forever.

Hush love
Hush
It will be forever soon.

Wow. I'm at a loss for words. The ending... yeh... powerful.

Please know that I'm usually rambling on in my comments and am only brief here because... I'm totaled by that ending. You really floored me with it.

This, I believe, was your first post--- I'll pick myself up off the ground to properly welcome you to YPDC! I'm happy to have stumbled across your poetry but do hope you don't think I always sit here with my mouth gaping open like this...

Speechless,
SNM

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
