Home in the Sky

Topic: FamilyPoems

Spread your wings and fly away,
Hope for peace for another day,
Take with you those you love,
Take them to the place above.

You don't have to die to be accepted there,
THat is a common, and very wrong fear.
All you ever wanted, all you ever need,
They have waiting for you, it's all been agreed.

Called 'heaven' 'nirvana' 'summerland',
All names for this castle in teh sand.
You make your own, but now you see,
the PERFECT one for you, was made by me.

You are my sister, my best friend,
And I hope that our friendship will never end.
I love you so much, I wish you could see,
Your home in the clouds, will include me.

Together we were, seperated we are,
But one day we'll be together, hopefully a day not too far.
Sisters of the soul, we need each other,
You'll always have me and I want no other.

Through you I have my family, each and every one,
Through you I have a sister, husband, and soon son.
Through you I have my daughter and soon-to-be neice,
In my family, you are whole, not just a piece.

One day we'll be together, sisters 'till the end,
But no matter what, you'll always be my best friend.
I love you, Erin.
