Everything I Hate

Contributed by CrimsonTears on Wednesday, 18th August 2004 @ 06:44:53 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

I’ve become what I hate
Everything I never thought I’d be
I look into the mirror everyday
And I don’t like what I see

I’ve just become so fake
Hiding all that I feel
Holding it all inside
Locking it with a seal

No one knows my pain
Or the things I go through
I don’t want to let them in
I’d be too afraid if they knew

So everyday I put on a thousand masks
So no one can see into my lifeless eyes
and see into my dying soul
But I don’t worry, because no one even tries

No one tries to see if I’m hiding
They like who they think I am
So I’ll let them keep on believing
Keep believing in my little sham

This is really sad, but so well written...I can feel your pain..... You should try to get rid of the masks tho..... People should like you for who you are..not who they'd like you to be..
