Try and tell her how much you care
Try and tell her let's see how much you dare
Confess to her how much you love her
Whisper sweet worlds of destructive affection
That for her you'll cross the ocean and conquer the world
Open up you heart to her unappreciative ears
Pour out your soul to the one you thought was real
And watch her pour it farther down the drain
See you heart be torn apart, nothing remains
But her cold-blooded heart being too vain to see
How broken the heart she left enveloped in misery
Hanging in painful rejection and despair
Silent surge of tears flowing almost unknowingly
How could she let go of everything that matters most to me
Slip through her callous, frozen and careless fingers
If she only knew that she had thrown out the window
The only thing that I would die for to get
She might have given it an invaluable second thought
The truth will set you free, so they say
But the truth can bring more damage than what it's worth
Shut up and keep it inside more like
For pain knows no bounderies
And words are sharper than knives
The truth will just make matters worst
For tomorrow will just bring torment and uncertainty
When the truth finally eats its way in
To your damned broken heart
