Beauty, elegance, felicity and grace
Exquisite features etched on a refined face
Sentiment, adoration, endearment and passion
Grasped in their hands, oblivious to the discrimination
Because these are the lucky ones, such fortunate lives they will lead
Blessed with divine and undefiled outer perfection
Gifted with immaculate magnificence that holds others spellbound
While on the other hand, hiding in the shadows of undeserved prejudice
Are the less favourable ones, leading an almost disconcerted existance
Pleased to find some atom of infatuated glory
And only bored to see rejection and animosity
Eclipsed in idiosyncrasy, such rocky roads they will tread
Yearning for love and affection, wishing to be someone else
Wondering in unwanted agony what the other side feels like
Trapped in a cell of labels and whispered distortion
Desperate to find a way out of this suffocating locus
And finally be free of this frozen and biased atmosphere
Unshackled from the discerning view of the judgmental
