Here
In my virtual world
I am free
I can meet new people far away
I can keep in touch with those who are close
I am free
I can express my feelings now
I couldnt do it before
I am free
I never have to meet anyone
I will never need to be with anyone in person
I am free
I have finally escaped my problems
I can do whatever I want
I am free
All I need is what is in front of me
Nothing else really matters
I am free
Reality is overrated
What I want is so much better
I am free
I dont care what things are like outside
But I wonder what people are doing
I am free
I am just fine the way I am
Except for the fact that I dont really know anybody
I am free
I wonder if theyre real
Or if they are just figments of my imagination
I am free
I dont care about that
And I dont care about what they think about me either
I am free
It doesnt matter if they dont talk to me
They dont care, no one cares
I am free
I dont care about myself
I dont care about anything
I am free
It doesnt matter to me
Because nothing matters anymore
I am free
I am alone
I am surrounded by nothing
I am free

Well, you've managed to hammer one point home...you're free.
Yet, the sort of freedom you're describing is more of an absence of connection with others due to the isolation of cyberspace. It's a poor trade-off as many are discovering.
The internet is a tool; it was never intended to become an alternative life style. People who swap real life for this bogus existance, will someday raise their heads and realize that while they were staring blankly at their monitor year in and year out; the meat and potatoes of life has been passed around the table and they failed to look up and grasp some for themselves.
So, in that aspect, your poem may provoke some to re-assess what's important in their own lives, and initiate changes.
I'd have to call that a success.*g*
