no end

thinking there is no end, a mistake i often make -
reason tends to flee when my heart takes over
where my head used to be - can't stop smiling
or crying when you hang up the phone
i want you - like i have not wanted anyone
in such a very long time
we talk in abstracts - places we've never been
when we meet in the middle of the airport
when we swim naked in the sea
i can hear something in your voice now
that wasn't there before
truth - we are in love
truth - we never saw it coming
truth - it might be scary
everything we have ever known
is suddenly different
the sound of your voice
my laughter sounds girlish
your words keep me alive
hope rides the wind - singing its song
we tell each other - someday babe, someday
thinking there is no end, a mistake i often make......

Yes, more great writing. Some day? Do you still dream of some day? Is some day real or just an incredible fantasy...dripping with too much color to ever be put away completely?Oh, sorry. I could ramble on and on with this one. You have said it perfectly once again.
