In a big, bright room
On a cold, rainy night
I'm in a great, big house
Where it's easy to get lost
I am happy, I am gay, I am all alone
And I'm so very cheerful
'Cuz I'm on my own.
In a world void of hate
Void of those that do degrate
Can i stare at the sky
Mind clear of all their lies
Staying happy, never sad
Never wishing for never had's
I am happy, I am safe
I can sit here and play
In my great, big house
On this cold, rainy night
In my big bright room
Away from all of you

I like this one. The sentiment is familiar and well expressed. It could be a physical reaity as well as a state of mind. A shame it hasn't be read more.
