Oh where can she be?

Nights long and sullen I search for her everywhere
I see her face in the clouds watch her running through the air
Imaginations run wild on dark lonely freeway
nothing but the sound of this trucks humming motor
Shes in the salt sea mists as it sprays along the rocks
the freshness of dew drops on roses reminds me of her
spirit of horse running through wayside fields reminds me
this spirit will never be owned nor tamed just be as she is
I look for her everywhere my travels take me wide
listen in the rain that falls for a hint of her voice somehow
I know these things cannot be but I can still search
as I let sleep wrap me up in this tired old sleeper
I can rest easy cause I know I can always dream of her
tales of the lone riding trucker
I miss you Misty girl!
