i know who i am
i know who i want to be
but still i am stuck
in this reality
why can't we ever
meet eye to eye?
the two of me
won't ever one be
my sight obscured;
only shades of gray;
in the superficial
world i must stay
my own mind,
belonging not to me,
jails my true form;
my heart is never free
one has the key;
He yearns to show
me the way to
a new garden sow
i see His love-
i see the key-
i know who i am
and that is who i want to be
