Welcome ye
who seek asessment
who strive a life
without resentment
Haunted
by everlasting sliver
Drifting
throughout the mourning river
Ghosts of their former selves
awaken to the sounds of mystic bells
their eternal lifeless
ghastly past
attains reanimation
to everlast
Conjoined as masses
to seek the crown
as time doth passes
their gazes frown
Upon the path
thats chosen them
on this endless road
they are condemed
to walk this earth
as wicked men

Wow! I was captivated by this piece. I read it three times, to continue the experience. Your word structures are impressive. In the days (which we are in), where poetry is a dying off work of art do to blunt crispness and angst ridden puzzles, you show me here that there are modern poets who understand the concept. This poem was indeed a blessing. Brillaint work, well done. Keep the Quill in hand! |
