Your eyes are like the sun
they pierce the heavens
where my world begun
cloaking it with your mystic essence
hiding the moons beautious cresents
Dont know how i lived
without you before
now i can finish
my incomplete lore
And all without incident
i witness love again
that tyrannous ghost
that haunts all men
It slayed my heart
without consent
and left me there
to drown in repent
For all the sins
i wish that werent
a part of my past
and subsequently the present
All of the while
i stare at the sun
knowing how we could never be
'cause we're bound as one
throughout eternety
So now i sit, enjoinying her warmth
a slave beneath cupids feet
cocooned like a patient moth
but the moon and the sun shall never meet
