What is this I see?
With me,
Out here,
Lost among my dreams?
Is it what I think?
Or is,
This night,
Playing tricks on me?
All that I have known,
Is lost,
Somewhere,
Deep within this me.
Though I try to find,
I can’t,
Seem to,
Open up my eyes.
Won’t you help me please?
To see,
Something,
Here within this void.
I have tried alone,
But found,
That I,
Could not find the sun.
So I watch the world,
And I,
See the,
Things I should have had.
Out here looking in,
I feel,
All the,
Pain of lonely life.
Watching people smile,
Made me,
Wish I,
Could just turn away.
But I could not turn,
I had,
To watch,
Even thought I cried.
Then I felt his touch,
And I,
Knew that,
Misery would fly.
When he called my name,
My heart,
Broke free,
Of those chains that bind.
By his grace I rose,
Out of,
The depth,
I had sunk within.
Through his love I grew,
Climbing,
The steps,
Leading to the thrown.
Then I faced my past,
All my,
Sins were,
Shown unto my eyes.
But he said fear not,
All I,
Must do,
Ask him to forgive.
So upon my knees,
I asked,
Of him,
That which he would give.
Unto me he gave,
His for-
giveness,
And the light of day.
