I could have...

Contributed by Icequeen on Monday, 16th August 2004 @ 11:16:19 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Those eyes I could have drowned in
Their depths unimaginable, unfathomable.
I could have lost myself in their dark and
Seductive promise, their animal innocence,
Their brown black infinite pools.
I could have exclaimed over the
Smoothness of his skin, silken, satin rich
That made you want to touch him and in doing so,
Run your hands over him, revelling in the
Sense of touching, feeling.
I could have felt that steel within,
Hidden beneath the guileless baby
Soft skin.
Iron hard, titanium strong, muscles tensing
In gorgeous uncertainty, begging to be felt,
To be marvelled at: to be wanted.

I could have…
