I Was A Fool To Believe

When I was little
I never knew the meaning of life and death
When I was little
I never cared about what people thought
When I was little
I never had so many problems
What happened to me?
I've become so angry
What happened to my childhood dream?
Where I said I'd live everyday to the extreme
What happend to my life?
I've been filled with so much strife
Why does everyone bring me down?
My face is glued into a frown
Why does everyone think they understand?
It's not like they're in on this hand
Why does everyone fail to see?
That they are seriously hurting me
I was a fool to believe I could change
I was a fool to believe someone loved me
I was a fool to believe that I'd get away from this place
I was a fool to believe I would succeed
I was a fool to believe that anything was possible!

Anything IS possible if you want it badly enough. This is a great write, shelbi, just the wrong outlook to succeed with.

Hugs,
Rita

This was nicely done, sometimes we don't know why life turns out the way it does. But I do think if we really want it we can make we want for ourselves. It's getting out of our heads and focusing on what we would like to do in the present time.
