where the green grass grows

Topic:
insomniac
|
far from home,
where the green grass grows
and women scream
their pitiful woes
the deadly din
an eery still o'er takes
"caution" it rings
a warning it makes
shadows emerge
naught more than a wisp
fear they instill
spreading death's lonely kiss
"joy to the world"
my belov'd proclaims
swinging his axe
thus ending my name
