A week till #12
A lateral movement towards a year older
A week of unforgettable terms
A week that left me in depression
The week our heavenly Father left me out in the cold
That week I heard it
the news I didn't want to hear
I was so close to her
Now shes gone
They were both
gone in the same
Why?
You ask why I do not believe
Well this is why.
He stole the love
he ***** over my teenage years
Why?
So I tell you I do not believe
I do not have to believe
I believe in myself
for I'm not the one who took them away.
I will remain neutral
I have no second thoughs
Regardless of the peer word
I simply shrug at the notion
But the truth is, I don't need him.
For he didn't need them.
I turned 12.
I had no grandly parents
I wish to not confuse you
I do have my parents
But my parents
did not have theres
They never saw..
..me enter a new life
They will never see
..me end and begin.
Only I will see..
..what I do.

Ludicrous concept. I laughed all the way through as I considered that somebody actually cared whether you believe in God or not. You drive the car to whatever destination you choose. I give it a 3.6 on the Nortiscale because it made me laugh. |

well written. I am sorry that you had to experience this pain. I too as a believer care whether you believe. I guess the biggest question I have is....If you don't believe in God, how can you say that he took your grandparents away? Just curious. |

Hun, life and death is just a part of life. You have to accept that. Everything is in a bigger picture. You can't blame God because something happened that deprived you of your grandparents. It's part of having free will on Earth. No one can live forever no matter how much you want them to. It's scientifically impossible if you want to look at it that way. I hope that you reconsider your standing with God. When we are in pain, we tend to lash out at those closest to us. You can't let that same pain dictate the rest of your life. Is that what your grandparents would have wanted for your future? Hugs!
