A scent of respect

I know this extraudinary lady
who seems to make me laugh
I see her usually once a week
she honestly deserves a plaugh
she is always happy
always jolly
there should be more like her
she has a heart of gold you see
she'd give hers to you
in a trlfle
she has a sore on her leg
the doctor says
rest is best
so while doing her dishes
she has her sore leg
up there near her chest!
while I am helping her today
I feel
gee my neck 's all wet
I turn around to see her
hidden in her hands
she has the perfume spray I bet
so for the rest of the day
I must say
I had a trail of sweet smelling scent
it made me smile
and brightened my day
as the aroma
was heavenly lent

I love this piece. Children and the elderly are so much fun. My mom lives with me and we visit a lot of her friends and they visit with us. They are a laugh a minute. Great write from a great heart.
