Parents Love Their Kids No matter What?

You were never there,
You never cared
Take a look at me now
I know you hate everything you see
You wish your daughter was someone besides me

im sorry Im such a dissapointment
Sorry I dont do what girls do
Sorry im not what you want

When you talk to me you just critisize me
About the way i dress, you say its sloppy,
I dont look good, I dress like a bum,
Because i like baggy clothes to hide the body i hate

Critisizing the way i think
Saying i was brainwashed and minipulated
Cause i dont let others choose what i wear, how i act
I dont care what they think

Criticizing that im gay
Again saying i was brainwashed to think im gay
Saying its disgusting and wrong, That I chose to think i am

It hurts so much

You said you would love me no matter what
It doesnt feel like it to me
You basicaly called me a freak, That i dont act like a normal girl
cause i dont like what ever girl likes
Because i dress and think the way i do
And you wonder why i have a low self esteem

i see my friends moms and wish they were mine
I wish you werent my mom
i cry because i know im everything you hate

When you talk to me i turn my back, I cant stand to let you see me cry
I give up talking to you, to help you understand me
You've killed all my pride, and what good i thought of myself

You said: " Do what you want, Dress the way you want, Be what you want,
You dont need a mother so i wont be there"

I quietly reply, though you didnt hear,
" You Never Were"

I can totaly relate...my mom doesn't like the way I dress or act either...ripped jeans, ripped shoes, dirty clothes...she calls me a bum too, and disagrees on the way I act...it does hurt, but thats what I feel comfortable wearing, and acting...that's who I am, and she can't change it! I know it gets to you, but just try to blow it off 'cause your who you are, and you don't need to be some preppy chick that's just like everyone else! Screw them!

Please comment on my work too
