Label Me Until I Crack.

Contributed by deathdrop on Saturday, 14th August 2004 @ 08:53:22 AM in AEST
Topic: toughstuff

I hate this feeling,
Of bitter distress.
When I wake up crying,
Still stuck in this mess.

When I dream with pure darkness,
All of the time.
It haunts me with sharpness,
And truthful lines...

I'm twisted, f*~*#^, and freakish,
Yeah I know.
Another manic adolescent.
Who's lifes a spinning and sick show!

Do you know the things i've been called?
Have you any idea how much it hurts?
To live in constant labels,
To be looked at like i'm dirt?

To be crushed by so much depression,
That as a result, I WANT TO DIE!
But to live with the fact that when I try.
I give in, since i'll just be denied!

So i'm forced further into darkness.
Yet still trying to keep a smile on my face.
'Coz I can't face being called crazy!
... And being told my life ain't a waste!

There's always something that gets to us more than everything else...this looks like it's it for you...
You gotta think of the positive side of this...being a "freak" is not a bad thing...if there weren't so called "freaks" in this world where would we be? Those people that are "freaks" try to conquer it all and become something later on in life, and most the time make it...why would someone want to be like everyone else?? To feel better to be put in a group with a bunch of people pretending to be like them...well, thats just *****ty...why can't people be themselves?? IT's very rare to find someone who is...your poem was great...don't let it ware you down...

please comment on my work too
