Suicide

Out on this road that feels so cold
each step more painful than the last
on darkened streets where I grow old
trying hard to forget my past.
No one to run to, no one to see
But, I did not have to dissapear
how could I've been my own enemy
still, even a shadow brings me fear.
Each harsh stare brought me misanthropy
But, being alone made me realize
That rested in peace, I'd rather be
now peacefully dead my body lies.

wow... this is really powerful. I have read through all your poetry and this had got to be one of my favourites. I love how it makes me feel it inside as I am reading it. Thank you for a great write and dont stop. it is funny how you can write something so well when you are bored and have nothing better to do. :)
