Tortured soul,
Black as coal,
Broken wings,
Beneath all things,
Eternal shame,
Ever-deepening pain,
Forgotten essence,
Un-wanted presence,
A piercing sting,
Is all love brings,
So many scars,
A heart in shards,
Tainted eyes,
Blinded by lies,
Full of fears,
Unseen tears,
A darkened mind,
Is all you’ll find,
Lonely death,
Frozen breath,
Blade in hand,
A life that couldn’t land,
Clenched fist,
Welcoming deaths kiss,
Blood runs free,
Making a sea,
Spirit fades,
Into the shade.
