I am a whisper in a world of shouts
I wonder what happens next
I hear the sounds of joy and happiness
I see it differently
I want perfection, to make this easier
I am just a whisper in a world of shouts

I pretend I care, to keep it going
I feel disconnected
I touch my inner feelings, to keep me whole
I worry about the future
I cry over love, and other meaningless issues
I am just a whisper in a world of shouts

I understand we're different, including myself
I say I'm misunderstood
I dream of memories, wish I could forget
I try to stay positive
I hope it will pay off, happiness is there
I am just a whisper in a world of shouts
