"TRUE FRIENDS YOU"LL FOREVER BE!"
True friends can be likened to a Gracious Gazebo!
Surrounded with all green.....everything alive!
In their presence, your sorrows take a furlough!
A refuge in our lives, to help us survive, to thrive!
Like a beautiful gazebo, asked in out of the rain,
Arms embrace, comfortable, cozy, want to remain!
Sunsets in a gazebo, with warmth's vivid colors.
Amidst crazy sea of mankind, stable as anchors!
Together, moments so precious, seconds invaluable.
Work of art, painted with oils on life's easel.
Your heart will never again be the same......
Counting days, weeks, return friendship reclaim!
Stories exhanged, everyone talking at once.....
Did you hear the one about the "Secretary Clearance?"
No single place except in their presence,
Just be yourself, no one will care, love's joyance!
Overcome by sadness when it comes time to depart.....
Reserving this visit's remembrances in your heart!
Take good care of each other now.....our dear friends.
After 50 years, our love for each other never ends!

Oh Connie - this sounds as if it were written for a certain individual that keeps pining and griefing about sweetness and joy having gone the way of all flesh.
