A Memo From My Heart

Contributed by Nazmythian on Friday, 13th August 2004 @ 01:13:41 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

Yeah, I know she's in here
I can smell her perfume too
But it's too late now to walk away
We've got to see this through
Maybe we can sit at that little table
In the corner all alone
And remain all night unnoticed
Until they have to send us home

Well, now there it is boy
She's asked you to dance
Maybe it's coincidence
Or it might be happen chance
Or maybe she saw us looking at her
While she was looking at you
Now you're standing face to face
Just remember what you've got to do

( You can )
Take her in your arms ~
But don't ever let her know
You never want to let her go again
Look into her eyes ~
Just keep in mind this moment
That we're livin' in is gonna end
Try to be strong and thank her as she walks away
Hope that maybe one day she might see
As she drifts away, she's taking ~
another little part of me

You're crazy for thinkin'
She just might feel the same
Lovin' in silence and livin in pain
Day after every day

( So just)
Take her in your arms ~
But don't ever let her know
You never want to let her go again
Look into her eyes ~
Just keep in mind this moment
That we're livin' in is gonna end
Try to be strong and thank her as she walks away
Hope that maybe one day she might see
As she drifts away, she's taking ~
another little part of me

Yeah
I know she's in here

It does sound like a love poem, but I can also sense the pain.

Another perfect piece of bittersweet love, my dearest Scott... "Would she ever notice me?" "Could she, maybe, even love me?" Ah, yes, I have asked myself these same questions before, except it was a 'he' instead of a she... They notice you, yet, they don't feel the same things you feel, towards them... Painful yes, you seem to feel alone and unloved, yes, but you move on... You have to move on, for your own sake... A beautiful proclaimation of love and anguish.. Excellent write, mon chasseur... All my love! Forever yours,

FLeur de Sang
