A New Life

Contributed by Bruce on Thursday, 12th August 2004 @ 11:24:35 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

What would you do
if you could live your life again
Would you want to be a grownup,
a teenager or from one to ten

What was your best age
the part you enjoyed the most
What part of your life
were you totally engrossed

Was all your life enjoyable
no need for a New Life
Were you happily married
to a husband or a wife

Did you have any children
and did they have children too
Is your entire family
very close to you

All these things are important
if you have to make a choice
Run all this through your mind
listening to your inner voice

If you have to make this decision
be sure you get it right
Otherwise my friend
you will have many a sleepless night

Hopefully we are all satisfied at the end of the day, knowing that even our regrets brought us to the wonderful place we stand now.

Thanks for this -
