Father is beating Sugie

Contributed by brokensoul on Thursday, 12th August 2004 @ 10:30:44 PM in AEST
Topic: toughstuff

just as mother walks out the door
father strikes sugie
she falls to the floor
she has to hold her tears inside
or father will get angrier
and hitting more he will decide
father sends sugie to her room
she drifts to sleep
but dreams of her doom
mother wakes Sugie in the morning before she leaves
she informs sugie father is staying home he doesnt feel well
Sugie heaves
mother checks sugie for self- inflicted cuts
mother doesnt find cuts but finds a big black bruise
sugie doesnt say anything in fear she will say to much
mother looks starts to worry
but sugie blames it on being clumsy
mother smiles and leaves in a hurry
once more father storms up the stairs
sugies tiny body falls lifelessy once more
but never cares
he watches smirking at the skinny girl onthe ground
he laughs out loud
she didnt make a sound
when sugie wakes
father tells her 'pot leaf' ( jake) caused him to snap
her starts to cry or at least he fakes
days later she sit home alone
she calls up jennifer and admits her story of abuse
before she told jennifer only sugie and father had known

This was written from the heart and felt the pain of the child but also her strength to survive.
