Have you seen the dark lady?,
Walking with her deformed baby.
Hiding from the rest of the world,
In a ball she stays tightly curled.
Just her & her tiny infant,
In another place that’s so distant,
She lives tucked into the shadows,
Her soul has a dark window.
Her eyes are like hollow pits,
Over her skin are small, red slits,
Those who have seen say she’s cursed,
None of her secrets are to be unearthed.
She locks them away in her mind,
Throws away the key so you can’t find,
The darkness is her home,
Her only request is to be left alone.
If you are unfortunate enough to meet,
Close your mind when she speaks,
Shut your eyes when she looks,
Otherwise you'll be dangling on her hook.
