My love drips from her as she leaves.
It moistens her fingers,
stains her white lace,
clings her blouse to her breast.
I lay here watching the light
set her hair into golden neon
as she closes the door. Eclipse.
Darkness surrounds me, cuddles.
Lies down with me on wet sheets.
Spent, empty, loveless, alone.
