Lying in my bed
Just thinking about my day
No one seems to care
That tonight I’m going away
To a better place
Where I can get my sleep
In a great big bed
Sleeping soundly, sleeping deep
Life’s become such a mess
Too much pressure, too much stress
I need to get out of here
Stop battling my mirror
Hurt and confused
Lost and abused
What can I do?
Something gleams in the light
I’ve lost the fight
Knife to my chest
Soon I will rest
Can’t wait to die
Seems like I should cry, but I can’t
Don’t know why
I feel good, but kind of bad
I’m so happy, but a little sad
I don’t know what to do
Just keep thinking about you
And how we’ll finally be together
But this time forever
When you left me I died inside
And in no one could I confide
So really I’ve been gone for quite a while
Not one tear nor one smile
Since the day I lost you
I haven’t been living
Just passing through
But now it’s all gonna be okay
And I won’t have to wait till someday
Here I go, here goes me
I’ll count to three
I left a note, saying I was sorry
Said I’d miss them all
When their time comes, to give me a call
One…Two…Three
The monitor goes dead
Things rushing through my head
Then I signed that note with blood dripping from my wrists,
A broken heart and a single kiss
Goodbye.
