A great dream

I woke up from a dream,
Dreaming of you and I,
I realized my love for you,
Just cant be denied.

It was a cold…. dark... lonely night,
My eyes looking into yours made everything just right,
All that my mind can think about is you,
For once in my life I have found something that is true,

This lonely night, alone on my bed,
Thinking of things that you once said,
I can’t imagine anyone else like this,
I miss you and your sweet kiss,

Holding my pillow close as I rest my eyes,
Hoping that our love grows and never dies,
Wishing I could be holding you instead,
I can’t get your beautiful smile out of my head.

As I drift off to sleep again,
I know I will have you close to me,
Yet hoping your dreams are filled with us,
For our lives together have only yet to begin.
