The Looking Glass

Topic: DarkPoetry

Who is this?
Staring up at me from the looking glass?
It's supposed to be me,
But it's not the person I thought it was.

I look into the looking glass,
And I see your face,
It fills me with so much hatred,
For you are a disgrace.

You hurt ther people you love,
More than anything in this world
You say you don't mean to,
But it's always the same word:

Me.
It seems it's all you can say,
And they notice,
Now they're starting to drift away.

And so you feel the hurt,
of everything you make them feel,
So you look into the looking glass,
and ask "Is this real?"

Yes it is.
And now you've got a price to pay,
Try to make it up to them,
But hope they don't push you away.

I look into the looking glass,
To see all I can see,
and now I realize the person looking back,
is none other than me.
