Here I find windows to leave
Unwanted eyes for me to forget
And as things change so does the scenery
All this time behind a window I've slept
Some frames fit for some
And glass is only transparent when you look away
But theres too many walls to focus on just one
So windows become the dominance of my day
During the night I draw windows that open
It's hard to look for something that was never there
So I sketch each window again and again
Each Windows' to the More
When a Color scheme dawns on me
I've opened it enough to ignore
That theres nothing in here

Wow, I loved that poem. I've been reading tons of poems on this site but that one stood out for good reason. Good work! |
