To anyone who cared...

Contributed by corrupted_minds on Wednesday, 11th August 2004 @ 06:11:31 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

To anyone who cared,

This is it, my final goodbye, and please for me dont even cry. I hadn't been here long, but long enough, and trust me now i had it rough. I had my friends, but never knew, If anyone i could call true. I lived in the shadows, where nobody knows, lived alone where nobody goes. I prayed to God, but still no cure, I am not clean, I am not pure. You tried to save me, but i pushed you away, i became a mute with nothing to say. What ever the problem, it's always my fault, I filled my own wound with icy cold salt. I loved once in my life, but that ended in pain, and even in the sun, on me it still rains. He took out my heart and left me to die, told me he loved me, it all was a lie. Friends aren't friends, and I'm not me, just took me long to stand back and see. The world would be perfect, if only i'm gone, my beautiful skin is tardy and worn. Face filled with scars, a wrist full of cuts, too many questions with too many buts. The blood on the floor, will show what i lust, and in a blunt knife my life i would trust. Bloodstained walls and bloodstained doors, bloodstained sheets and bloodstained floors. Show where this little girl had been, show what this little girl had seen. I loved you all, my friends and foe, but my one desire is to go. I live for nothing, i grow but old, never wanted i was always told. You confirmed i'm not perfect, tainted and dirt, and to bring my end it wouldn't hurt. I cry with joy to see my end, to leave alone my phoney friend. Too live a lie would be worse than hell, I've been there and back and live to tell. I hold no grudge, I'm going to bliss, and I know you wont even miss. I'll see you one day. when your time has come, but now i know what has to be done. Take this as my kiss goodbye, and in the heavens i'll learn how to fly.

The broken girl

I am not ashamed to admit, that just put tears in the eyes of a 36yr old man. There is such hopless finality to those words.
