I looked into those eyes,
No longer wondering what it is i see,
Remember when i said i was letting go?
I was wrong, i guess i should have known.

When i said i was letting go,
Little did i know,
That it helped our friendship grow,
I could not ask for anymore.

BUT if i could rewind the hands of time,
Fix my stupid mistakes i made and then try to make you mine,
I would do it in a heartbeat,
There would be no questions, there would be nothing stopping me.

But i cant go back to change anything,
All i can do is hope for someone like you to care for me,
I am sorry things couldn't be,
I screwed up and now i am starting to see.

And can you do me a favor?
Ask him to always remember,
Don't take anything for granted ever,
And if he does, you've always got my phone number.

I am not trying to say i am wanting you,
Even though i wanted it to be just us two,
All i am trying to say is i am sorry and i am here for you,
I know things bettween us are dead, but atleast i got you as my friend.
