Inching
Remember the days when the wind swept your face
And all you needed was the sun?
Those were the days of the innocent
When everything was a pun
We sprinted through the streets
And laughed at the sky
And only let our mother’s
See us cry
Where did that time go?
And why are we stuck here
Where all our dreams might really come true
And no Mom to wipe the tear

good ending. creative. i think this had a nice tone and atmosphere. i think it doesnt really have substance but it still seemed to be a pretty nice poem, nonetheless. |
