tired

Contributed by InnerBeautyQueen on Tuesday, 10th August 2004 @ 08:08:51 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

confused and hurt
trapped inside
with no way out
and no way in
broken and cold
bled dry of everything
tired of being kind
tired of apologies
tired of being the one to always say them first
tired of not meaning it
tired of everything

no one asked me to write down how i feel
no one told me i seem sad
no one told me i cry too much
no one saw
and no one sees

it's not that hard

paranooid
not quite delusional
caged in my own mind
tired of saying no
tired of saying yes
tired of getting up
tired of eating
tired of waking
accomplishing the pointless

no one notices how i'm not scared
no one notices how it hurts
no one sees that this isn't normal
no one sees that i've become detatched
no one sees the incessant ache
no one has
no one will

living their new lives through me
pushing mistakes
because everybody seems to make the same mistakes twice
even if they call them mine
mad when i won't make them
everyone seems to want someone to hurt
i seem to be the one to be receiving
everyone seems to want to throw caution to the wind
i seem to be the one to feel the consequence

limp
heavy
falling
waiting for the day when i go to sleep
and finally don't wake up
