Haunted House

Topic: DarkPoetry

Murdered in her own home
Left there to forever roam
That old house is what she haunts
Its you that she makes sure she taunts

Blood stains all over the floor
You swear they weren’t there before
Out of nowhere they appeared
All over the place the blood is smeared

You search the paper to find out her story
You never imagined it would be so gory
She was stabbed and shot over 20 times
You stand there shocked as your heart rate climbs

You can’t believe this dreadful tale
Your face becomes completely pale
You go back to that creepy place
That is when you see her face

She gives you such a crooked smile
You try to figure out if she is hostile
But before you get to much time to think
Just as you give a quick little blink

She appears behind you with a string
Around your throat begins to sting
She chokes you until you die
You don’t even get a chance to cry

So now you were murdered in your own home
That is where you will be left to forever roam
That old house you will now haunt
Any new owner you’ll be sure to taunt

Great poem! I loved it. It was different and a little creepy cause I could picture it all happening in my mind as I read it. I believe in ghost very strongly and you captured the subject of hauntings and ghost good in this one.

Even I liked this one--imagine that. This was cool. Keep writing.--the Moth
